How the calculation works
The calculator subtracts the two dates and counts every day in between: from 1 March to 15 July is 136 days. Leap years are included, so the count stays correct even when 29 February falls in the middle.
Business days exclude Saturdays and Sundays, which is what matters for notice periods, refund windows and contract terms. Public holidays vary by country and year, so they are not excluded automatically.
